About Our Wakeboarding Lessons

Elite Watersports coaches offer wakeboarding lessons for everyone, from people who have never wakeboarded to those who love the sport and want to hone their skills. Our Tampa wakeboarding lessons are available at these levels:

Beginner: Beginner wakeboarding lessons are the way to go if you've never tried wakeboarding. We teach you the fundamentals with lessons from behind one of our jet skis, allowing your instructor to give you detailed pointers. We allow beginners to take as many lessons as they need to master the basics.
Advanced: Once you've learned the basic wakeboarding skills, you can move into advanced courses. With these lessons, our coaches teach you how to do surface tricks and small aerials. We start covering these skills behind our jet skis with the intention of helping you graduate to boarding behind a boat.
Behind-boat lessons: Learning behind a jet ski is one thing, but if you have a boat, we want to help you transfer those skills. Our off-site, behind-your-boat lessons make it easy for you and your group to get private instruction in your comfort zone.

We offer various wakeboarding lesson packages that allow you to choose what type of lessons you want. Whether you prefer one-on-one instruction, group lessons or classes with a friend, our team is happy to accommodate.

Setting expectations for selected time frames.

2 Hours= Recomended for small groups only. Best for individual focused progression sessions.
2.5 Hours = 2-3 riders having several runs. or 2 riders with back to back endless sessions.
3 Hours= Perfect for 6 people and up to 4-6 riders.
3.5 hours= Up to 6 people enjoying several session each.
4 Hours= The best way to enjoy a solid session with up to 6 people getting several session a piece.

Impact vest
Aquatic clothing like a wetsuit, boardshorts or a bathing suit

Bo Jaffe

Bo is an avid waterman who loves to fish, spearfish, surf, and of course kiteboard. He is always stoked on all life has to offer and puts 110% effort into each lesson. He wants to make sure you have the most enjoyable time out on the water with safety being the #1 priority. Bo parle couramment le Francis.

Tanner Hayes

His roots are deep into the Colorado slopes and thats what lured him into the life of a kiteboarder. Learning from Tanner will be great experience. If your having fun he's having a blast!

Evan Langford

Evan coming from the island of Jamaica has been around the water his entire life. He teaches all things water related and is also one of our repair specialist. With this knowledge you're sure to get the most out of any lesson.

Kyle Craig

Kyle brings positive vibes in all aspects of life, especially during a lesson. He comes to us from Colorado where he's been enjoying the fresh pow pow for the last couple of years, but has traded in his snowboard for boardshorts. If you see him teaching a lesson make sure to welcome him to the team.

Emilie Pellerin

Emilie is an international force to be reckoned with coming to us all the way from Canada. As a traveling instructor she has experience teaching in all conditions and can provide the experience needed to give you the skills you need to achieve all of your goals. Emilie parle couramment le Francis.

Aaron McClearnon

Living and breathing kiteboarding and all that it offers. Either on the race course or in a big air comp, he's driven by the excitement of learning something new. Meet him at the shop or on the beach, he's a huge part of what we do.
