Demens Landing

The best place to access the water for efoiling in downtown St. Petersburg is at the boat ramp of Demens Landing Park. It is recommended to avoid the area around the boat slips and instead head to the right hook all the way around towards the airport. Riding around the St. Pete Pier is an awesome experience, but it can be choppy with East Wind and there can be heavy boat traffic on the weekends. There are multiple areas of flat water to ride with excellent views of downtown, but caution is needed in certain areas due to shallow water. Overall, launching from Demens Landing or Northshore provides access to epic efoiling with great views of the city and the pier.

Don CeSar Boat Ramp

The boat ramp at the Don CeSar in St. Pete is an amazing place to efoil with quick and easy access to the water. There are epic views of the Don CeSar Hotel and smooth, flat water for easygoing rides. There is also an area of shallow water to avoid and the location is one of the best places to ride in the St. Petersburg area. Tanner from Elite Watersports recommends being courteous and having fun while efoiling in this location.

Maximo Park Boat Ramp

Maximo Park in Saint Petersburg offers easy access to a network of channels for boating. There is a popular boat ramp but be careful of boat traffic, especially on weekends. Riding to the right leads to Gulfport Bay, while riding to the left takes you to a large area of deep water with shallow areas to avoid. It is recommended to park on the south end of the park and walk out to the water near the sailboats for watersports.

Sunset Beach Dog Park

Sunset Beach dog park  is a popular spot for efoil sessions with easy access to the water and a short ride out to the Gulf of Mexico. There is parking in a small paid lot.  You can walk to the boardwalk, and head down the stairs to the beach. There can be heavy boat traffic in the channel and caution is advised. Strong currents are also present and there is a large sandbar when heading out into the Gulf.  Safety and fun on the water are both important parts of efoiling in this location.

10 Cent, Tierra Verde

10 Cent is a popular efoiling spot in the St Petersburg area, known for its easy access to a large area for exploration. Located on the Northern side of the big bridge heading into Tierra Verde, it provides convenient parking by the water and access to a dirt trail underneath the bridge. However, caution is advised as the area is predominantly within boat channels and potentially busy. The highlighted area on the map in the video represents where deep water can be found, allowing for a huge area to be explored.
