This is the trind for much of the East Coast locations along the Florida Coastline. East winds are fine if you know what you are doing but note that the shorebreak can get unmanageable and these condtions call for more experienced kiters.

Southeast winds kick off around March or April and will be smooth.They are nice for regular foot frontside kitesurfers but true souths really line things up well for a proper kitesurf set in the waves.
