Ozone Pocket Rocket V2 Parawing — The Best All-Around Parawing Yet

The Ozone Pocket Rocket V2 parawing is the most accessible, most forgiving parawing Ozone has built. Blast upwind on foil, stash the wing on your waist in seconds, then surf swell completely hands-free. Built on Ozone’s paraglider and foil-kite DNA, the Pocket Rocket V2 pairs an all-new profile, a lower aspect ratio and the user-friendly Bow Bar from the PowerPack to deliver smooth, constant power that any rider can handle — from your first parawing session to advanced downwind foiling missions.

Available in seven sizes from 1.9m to the brand-new 5.7m, the Pocket Rocket V2 is the one-wing quiver for parawing foiling, downwind runs, swell riding, and light-wind foiling. In stock and shipping now from Elite Watersports in St. Petersburg, Florida — your Ozone parawing dealer with real on-water experience behind every recommendation.

What’s New on the Pocket Rocket V2

All-new profile section, sail shaping and planform for a more predictable, more intuitive flying feel.
Reduced aspect ratio with a new elliptical outline — more grunt, a wider low-wind range, and quicker lift onto foil.
Bigger sweet spot that is far less sensitive to handling errors, so mistakes no longer cost you your session.
Smoother, more constant power delivery throughout the range, with more tension to push against going upwind.
Later, farther-back downwind stall point for confident deep-angle glides.
Tips stay out of the water — the more compact, lower-AR shape is far less likely to catch a tip than the V1.
Faster inflation after redeployment and nimbler steering.
New front line material with a special coating for effortless, rash-free handling and faster packing.
New 5.7m size for genuinely light-wind days.

Bow Bar Control System

The Pocket Rocket V2 ships with Ozone’s Bow Bar. Removing the central leader line opens up the centre of the bar and frees your hand positioning, so you can focus on riding instead of hand placement. The Bow line engages the central bridle levels at a ratio that controls the canopy more evenly through angle-of-attack changes, giving you a more progressive power range with better bottom-end and top-end control. Bar and canopy sit close together, which is what makes packing and redeployment near-instant.

Canopy & Bridle Technology

Centre front line riser: front lines bundle through the centre riser (wingtip lines excluded), drastically reducing hand forces and making the canopy quicker to reach.
New parawing-specific bridle material: coated front lines glide smoothly, proven first on the PowerPack.
Refined line diameter and stiffness: fast, tangle-free packdowns every time.
V-shrink tabs on the trailing edge: allow fewer brake lines while spreading balanced tension along the entire trailing edge for a simpler bridle and easier redeployment.
Rounded parachute shape: captures a solid blast of wind to punch you up onto foil.
Colour-coded, spliced loop-to-loop bridles: optimised thickness, unique coatings, no snagging.

Single-Skin Construction Built to Last

Double rip-stop Nylon upper and lower surfaces with a hydrophobic coating that sheds water for better flight and water relaunch.
Single-surface design generates ample lift at low airspeed, gives instant efficient depower, and keeps weight and pack volume minimal.
Battened leading edge with flexible lightweight plastic battens that hold profile shape through gusts and angle-of-attack changes.
Transverse Sail Shaping on the leading edge cleans up airflow and improves the lift-to-drag ratio.
Optimised diagonal ribs spread bridle loads evenly so the top surface holds its designed profile.
Ozone-owned factory production with laser-cut single-layer panels and hand-checked quality control.

5.0m	36 cm	~10–25 kts	Light-wind downwinders, heavier riders, smaller foils.
4.3m	36 cm	~12–28 kts	The go-to downwind size for most 165–200 lb riders.
3.6m	36 cm	~15–30 kts	Versatile freeride size for mixed wind and swell.
3.0m	36 cm	~18–35 kts	All-round pick for medium winds and average rider weight.

*Wind ranges are indicative Elite Watersports guidance based on roughly a 175 lb rider on a typical surf foil. Ozone does not publish numerical wind ranges for the V2. Your real range shifts with skill, foil area, and board volume. The 33 cm bar on the 1.9m and 2.4m is chosen to balance maximum control with the smallest packdown.

Recommended Add-Ons

Ozone strongly recommends riding a parawing with dedicated harness lines and a harness such as the Ozone Stash Harness or Stash Belt. Hooking in cuts arm and upper-body fatigue, improves upwind efficiency, and makes sessions dramatically longer. The Mission Pack carries up to two backup wings plus a phone, water bottle and flare — ideal for long downwinders or as a rescue parawing for wing foilers.

Inspect gear before every session, never pack the wing wet, avoid forcing the leading-edge battens out of shape, and read the full Ozone owner’s manual before use. Misuse can result in serious injury or death.
