Named after the Ono — one of the fastest, most agile fish in the ocean — the ONO Long Tail is designed for advanced riders who want glide, stability, and control at speed. It carries forward the proven shape of our original FT tail, including the curved, downturned tips for flow and control, but updates it with a higher aspect ratio (1 inch shorter chord) and thinner foil profile (2mm thinner) to reduce lift and drag for a faster, more efficient ride.

The 140mm fuselage length gives your foil a more stable, composed ride — ideal for linking glides, riding at speed, or keeping control in powerful conditions.

Choose the ONO Long if you want maximum control, smooth glides, and high-speed confidence across all disciplines. Choose the ONO Short if you love fast carves, quick direction changes, and a freer, surfier ride.

Available in 120cm², 140cm² and 165cm², the ONO tail range lets you customize your tail for any session:

Named after the Ono — one of the fastest fish in the sea — the ONO Short Tail is built for advanced riders who crave tighter turns, quicker transitions, and greater pitch freedom. It’s the evolution of our original FT tail, retaining the same proven outline and downturned tips for control, but upgraded with a higher aspect ratio (1 inch shorter chord) and a thinner profile (6.5mm) to reduce lift and boost speed. With a short 50mm fuselage, this tail enhances maneuverability and responsiveness, giving your foil a looser, more surfy feel.

Choose the ONO Short if you love fast carves, quick direction changes, and a freer, surfier ride. Choose the ONO Long if you want maximum control, smooth glides, and high-speed confidence across all disciplines.

SIZES
