SLIM ENDURANCE Battery

The Foil Drive Slim Endurance Battery is the larger SLIM battery with 241Wh capacity. The Endurance Battery is great for those who are wanting to lengthen their runtime with the Assist Slim, however, due to the lower voltage this battery does not provide the same level of thrust and overall ride experience as the Slim Performance Battery.

The Slim Endurance Battery is the only Gen2 battery that runs on a 28V system. This means you must use the 28V Standard Charger 4A with this battery. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CHARGE THIS BATTERY WITH A 40V Charger!

SLIM PERFORMANCE Battery

The Foil Drive Slim Performance Battery is the smaller Slim battery with 166Wh capacity. The Performance Battery is great for those who are wanting a punchy, high performing, light-weight ride at the cost of runtime.

As with all Gen2 Foil Drive batteries, the Slim Endurance Battery is certified IP68 rated for increased protection and peace of mind against water and dust.

The single power plug contains larger connectors that provide power to the Foil Drive unit and smaller connectors for charging the battery. The included dust cap provides extra protection during storage & transport.

Only compatible with Foil Drive Assist Slim. 

DO NOT use the 40v Fast Charger 8amp with the Slim Performance battery. 

SLIM TRAVEL Battery

Can Travel batteries be used e-foiling/constant power? No. These batteries are designed to be used in Assist mode only.
The Foil Drive Slim Travel Battery allows you to travel with your gear to your favourite riding destination and take a battery with you!

The Slim Travel Battery breaks down into 2 smaller sections for approved airline travel with 2 parts being 81wh and one part at 97.2wh. With just a few simple screws, the battery reassembles quickly and easily and can stay complete for storage, usage and charging.

Charge with 40V Foil Drive Chargers. Slim Travel Batteries cannot be charged with the 40V Fast Charger.

The complete battery when joined together is rated at 4.5ah capacity or 178wh meaning it is slightly larger capacity or run time than the Slim Performance battery. Due to the extra length added by the extra connector parts, the Travel Battery uses the longer "D" Nose Cone for your Assist Slim.

Most airlines around the world will allow a person to carry 20x batteries under 100wh, some do require pre-approval first though.
